Set in about 40 hectares (100 acres) of parkland, it is made up of two sections: Riva Marina 1, just 40 metres from the sea, and Riva Marina 2, about 300 metres away.

The Residential Village offers many services, including a bar, pizzeria, grocery store, tobacconist, butcher's shop and a small open-air chapel, plus leisure facilities such as five-a-side football pitches, tennis courts, a bocce court, two open-air nightclubs and a large, beautifully kept swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas.
